Located on the North side of the Palm Springs
Airport, The Palm Springs Air Museum is a showcase for the aircraft and pilots
of World War II. The museum has an impressive collection of planes and
educational exhibits. There are typically 26 aircraft on display including
airplanes on loan from the National Air and Space Museum, the US Navy, and
private collections.
Exhibits include original combat photography,
aircraft and ship models, and other World War II artifacts and memorabilia.
As a bonus, the museum has a nice collection of
antique automobiles from the 1920s and 1930s.
